Academic Advising

Academic advising is conducted in the individual colleges and schools. In some Schools, students who have declared a major will be assigned a faculty advisor from within their chosen department. In other Schools, professional advisors do all advising. The advisor you see during Freshmen Orientation is not necessarily your "official" advisor. You can login to myOleMiss to find your advisor. We are happy to assist students in locating their advisors and providing contact information.
