- The student must have access to a computer that is connected to an Internet Service Provider.
- Although the student is freed from coming to campus to attend classes, most Ole Miss Online courses require at least one proctored exam. The student will need to check the course syllabus, or contact his or her instructor to determine whether or not the course has proctored exams.

Why am I having difficulty seeing certain parts of my lessons?
- It's important to be sure that your web browser (Internet Explorer, etc) is configured properly. Be sure that javascript is enabled, cookies are accepted, and that you are not blocking pop-ups. For instructions on making these adjustments, consult your software's help features. If you have any additional toolbars installed (Yahoo, MSN, or Google toolbar) you may need to turn off their pop-up blocking functions as well.
Why does ANGEL tell me my session has expired and I need to reauthenticate when I try to login?
- This Internet Explorer problem can usually be solved by adding http://angel.olemiss.edu to your browser's "trusted sites" list, which is located on the privacy tab of Internet Options. For more information on this, please consult the Help feature of Internet Explorer.
- You will probably be required to take your tests in a proctored environment.
- That might mean coming to one of The University of Mississippi campuses, or you can make arrangements with our office to have an approved proctor administer your exam. If you are off campus, you may want to take your exam off campus, for which you will need to fill out an application.
- You will receive further instructions once your course begins.
- For more information about Testing go to the Testing Information Page
