How to Schedule an Exam

The student is responsible for scheduling an appointment with a college or university testing center and for submitting an examination request form to the Department of Online Learning and Independent Study for every test he or she is required to take. The Off-Campus Exam Request Form must include the proctor’s name, contact information, institution, location where the exam will given, and the appointment day and time when the examination will be taken. Students are responsible for test site fees. Additional fees may be assessed for examinations with laboratory components. Contact the OMO staff at online@olemiss.edu or 877-915-7313 if you require additional information or assistance.

Appointments for examination may be requested through the following:

  • The University of Mississippi Department of Online Learning and Independent Study and UM Regional Campuses: Appointments for examinations may be made through the Online Learning Test Scheduler. This information is also available by following the testing links posted to your Ole Miss Online class in Angel. Seats are limited; therefore, students should schedule their appointments as early as possible.

  • Other Academic Institutions: Contact the testing center or designated testing official at an accredited college of university. A testing fee may be charged.
